Black For Spring

Beyond working any hours I can get, I've been pretty much just relaxing recently. Last night I helped with a local fashion show which was a lot of fun, helping to dress the models and get things organised! Today I am in the particularly unseasonal colour of black from head to toe. I think sometimes it's nice to ditch colour and wear something a little more rock and roll (she types whilst wearing sparkly jelly shoes...).

At the beginning of the year a fellow classmate informed me I dressed 'darker and darker every week' and I suppose since then I have tried avoiding overdoing the whole black on black on black art student uniform, but I still like reverting to this easy way of dressing every now and then! This faux leather jacket from New Look must be about...4 years old now (?) and I remain as every bit in love with it as I was when I bought it. A couple of studs have fallen off, but beyond that this jacket looks as good as new and has held up much better than my Topshop one which is beginning to peel. Given that I bought this one for £15 in the sale I am delighted with how well this has held up - most people I know will remember I wore this pretty much every day for at least two of the four years!
