Frill Seeking

First things first - I have neglected my blog for the last few days not through choice, but because I have two jobs here on the Isle of Wight and I have been at work pretty much constantly since being home! Also, I couldn't find my camera cables and my computer hasn't been connecting to the internet! Excuses aside, I've had a really lovely time being home, reading magazines and being close to the sea again.

I'm afraid these photos aren't the best quality as my camera died after these were taken and it was really windy yesterday, but I wanted to share this outfit with you anyway. After posting a picture on Instagram asking whether or not to get a pair of jelly shoes, I had a pretty strong response that this glittery pair were a must! I may look entirely ridiculous but I am happy remaining blissfully unaware as wearing these makes me feel so nostalgic. I adore this smock style top from Missguided as the print is ready for spring/summer but the bright orange shade and large size of the print stop the frills from looking too fussy. Ordinarily I would wear the top with black jeans and a low heel, but I like that the sleeves make the sillouhette of this outfit a little more unique.
