Chatham Footwear Photo Shoot SS16

This week I went along to the Chatham Footwear SS16  photoshoot to get some behind the scenes action. For those of you not familiar with the brand, Chatham make beautiful high quality shoes, many of which are handmade right here in the UK. Well known for their deck shoes, the brand have fairly recently expanded into lifestyle shoes aswell - covering all you could possibly need from country to coast. Conveniently, the shoot was based on my little Island too, so expect a lot of sea!!

I personally own two pairs of leather Chatham shoes and can vouch for the fact they are ridiculously comfortable and seriously well made (as well as really pretty), so I couldn't wait to go along and have a sneak peek at next year's collection.

First up we headed to the river to shoot the deck shoes & technical collection...

...before heading along to the secret beach at Gurnard - a bit of a gem only locals know about, which is where a lot of the colour pop shoes were shot!

Above you can spot me in the stripey jumper trying to be a good assistant!

Next up we headed inland to North Court Manor to shoot the country shoes. This was the most beautiful country manor house and with the sun shining it was a dreamy location.

Last stop on our whirlwind tour of the Island was Compton Bay - a personal favourite spot of mine, perfect as the sun goes down.

A slightly sandy end to the shoot!

All in all a beautiful sunny day on the Isle - albeit an exhausting one!
Thank you to the lovely team at Chatham for letting me come along to the shoot, I can't wait to see the results!
