Date Night With Very - The Cinema

Following yesterday's post I am excited to share with you my second installment of my Date Night series wearing Very. This is the outfit I wore Tuesday when Paul and I went to the cinema to watch Deadpool. Thankfully here in Germany they do have British screenings so we went to a local independent cinema which is like an absolute dream - everybody cycles there and parks up in the bike park which is lit by string lights, before going through to the bar to grab a glass of wine and have a natter, then going into the screening rooms via a chandelier lit winding staircase! Even the loos are glamorous! I don't think Cineworld will ever be the same for me again.

So this date night required a more casual look and something comfortable - enter these dreamy denim dungarees. I sized up twice in these because I wasn't uber keen on the idea of skinny fitting dungarees so mine are pretty baggy and I love the fit this way. They also have a fair amount of stretch in them so be prepared to feel as though you have stepped out in pajamas, in a really good way. I went for the old classic striped top then jazzed it up with a red moc croc chain bag (try saying that three times fast), cow gal style boots and a messy updo. Just as an FYI on the striped top if you're planning on bagging the same one for yourself, it is made of viscose so don't do as I did and pop it in the tumble dryer because it will shrink.

As for my thoughts on Deadpool? Hilarous but not for the faint hearted. Next week I'm choosing the film!
