Bargainous Brick Red Botanicals

There's a crisp chill in the air, everything smells a little smokier and my chunky jumpers have been released from their boxes to be granted space in the 'drobe. Autumn is here at last and I can hardly contain my pumpkin spiced excitement. Enter a whole new restock of polo necks and patterned pants and more knitwear than you can shake a cinammon stick at.

I absolutely try my best not to break my bank account at this time of year but last week I found myself with a spare hour in the town centre and decided to pick up a few essentials from Primarni - hair bands, tights, the usual - when I suddenly discovered my arms laden and my feet carrying me to the till. You know how it is.

This accidental mini spree happily lead me to these amazing botanical/winter floral cigarette pants which I am a little bit in love with. At thirteen quid the fabric leaves something to be desired when you're properly up close and there are zero pockets despite the abundance of zips, but I couldn't not take them home with me. I'm so pleased I did as on they look amazing and dare I say much more expensive?

Paired with a simple rib jumper in a kind of oxblood brick red (£6) it all comes together rather smartly and incredibly comfortably. I will no doubt be wearing this combo for both work (w. a fab pair of loafers, satchel strung over arm) and play (simple heels, leather jacket, touch of velvet something somewhere?) throughout the colder months.
